The YCM Academy is designed for advanced young musicians aged 12 and above who would like to spend an intensive week making music together, discovering new musical ideas and growing as musicians.

Applications are welcome from violinists, violists, cellists and pianists. You can apply individually or together as an existing ensemble.

Chamber music is at the heart of the Academy: You will work daily with your ensemble and our chamber music faculty, who will share their wealth of experience and enthusiasm for chamber music with you. Individual lessons, chamber orchestra or octet sessions, and daily concerts complement the intensive ensemble work.
